About us
A traditional Romanian restaurant, since 1991
For over 35 years, Roata Norocului has been a landmark on the Brașov dining scene. Opened in 1991 as the first private restaurant in the city, it started as a family business and has kept the same care for taste and for its guests ever since.
Set in a quiet area, on the road climbing towards Poiana Brașov, the restaurant offers top culinary service in an intimate and welcoming atmosphere. Our professional team and decades of kitchen experience can be found in every plate.
We made our name by keeping and adapting traditional Romanian recipes, inspired by home cooking. We are best known for our tripe soup, mici (grilled minced-meat rolls) and beef tartare.

A warm, intimate atmosphere, decor with Romanian character and comfortable seating for family gatherings, business lunches or festive meals. Quality live music at the weekend.
Summer terrace
A generous open-air space, ideal for warm days, with the same traditional cuisine and a relaxed atmosphere, at the foot of the road to Poiana Brașov.
Private events
